I received a catalog in the mail recently by a company called Aftosa www.aftosa.com or 800-231-0397.
This company sells artist materials (mostly for potters) business products and provides artist services. The may be the answer to a prayer for me - an affordable easy-to-set-up web hosting service. And, not just the hosting but the availability of a simple site I can set up myself and manage. The only additional charge is a small annual site name fee.

I spent quite a bit of time today visiting their site and reviewing individual artist sites who use their services. The site appears easy to set up and use, is clear and simple in appearance and best of all has no limits on number of photographs used - a key issue for me.
The cost is only $14.95 per month or $150.00 annually, instead of my $1,500 a year fee I am paying now.
The site will be for me and for my artwork instead of a site for the gallery as I currently have, meeting my goal of decreasing my overall annual expenses.
